My main reason for buying this was both to protect from drops AND scratches. Unfortunately, the included "self-adhering clear protective film to safeguard screen against scratches" was a joke. The film was completely useless. It comes with 2 adhesive strips--which are supposed to be removed. Unfortunately, however, the strips are practically glued to the film--like heat-sealed. So, no way to use the film. Other than that, I'm impressed with the case, which is why I gave 4 stars. Luckily, haven't dropped yet, but I hope that this will do the trick when I do....
